Relocating
Tips for Relocating
Relocating and starting the next chapter of your life can be both exciting and stressful. I’m with you every step of the way.
Dealing with clients who are relocating can be very different than dealing with clients who are just moving to a new home in the same City or neighborhood.
A knowledgeable realtor is even more important when relocating, as you will be relying on them to advise you on which neighborhoods are desirable and which areas they should steer clear of. In addition, you must consider such things as schools, public transit, amenities, shopping centers, commute times, etc.
By nature, I enjoy the due diligence process and I enjoy researching and advising. So although there may be more time spent with clients who are relocating, especially if they’re out-of-province, it makes it that much more rewarding.
Relocating to a new province or City can be both exciting and overwhelming. I enjoy helping to assist families during this exciting time in their lives. If you’re relocating to Edmonton or the surrounding areas, let me know and I’ll happily drive you to and from the airport.
Why Alberta
For those who are out of Province and are considering relocating to the Fort Saskatchewan or Edmonton area, why should you choose to move to Alberta?
- Affordable housing, the average home price (attached and detached) in the Edmonton area as of October, 2022 is 381,451$ (compare that too over 1.1 million in Vancouver and over 843,000 in Toronto)
- Strong and diverse economy: Alberta offers high wages and a low cost of living. Some of the key sectors in Alberta include: Agriculture, Aviation & logistics, Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Petrochemicals, Technology & Innovation, Tourism, and Health Care.
- For those looking for home ownership, a well-paying job, work-life balance, and outstanding schools, Alberta is the place to be. I was born and raised in Edmonton and reside in Fort Saskatchewan, there is nowhere else my family and I would rather be.
